Three-Ingredient Dog Treats
Wholesome, pantry-friendly treats made with just three simple ingredients you can trust!
My 13-year-old golden retriever loves these Three-Ingredient Dog Treats almost as much as we love giving them to him. Gone are the days of questioning those hard-to-pronounce ingredients in store-bought treats, we’re only giving the very best to our furry family members.
Made with oats, peanut butter, and canned pumpkin, these are a tasty treat you can feel good about giving to your pup.
These treats are meant to be crunchy and firm, but if your dog prefers softer foods, you can remove them from the oven 4–5 minutes early.
Storing tips: Store in an airtight container on the counter. If you’re opting for a softer treat, keep them in the fridge because the extra moisture can lead to mold.
Freezing tips: Place in a freezer-safe bag and store for up to 3 months. Remove from the freezer and let thaw for about 20 minutes before giving to your dog.

Yields: 30 treats
Ingredients:
1 cup oats
1/3 cup canned pumpkin
1/3 cup peanut butter (make sure it does not contain xylitol—natural peanut butter is best)
Steps:
Preheat oven to 325°F.
Blend the oats in a food processor or blender until they reach a flour-like consistency.
Add the peanut butter and pumpkin, then blend until a dough forms.
Roll into 3/4-inch balls and flatten with a spoon into a medallion shape.
Bake for 28–30 minutes, until firm and slightly golden.
